Welcome to the official website of the Penrith Valley Concert Band Incorporated.

The Penrith Valley Concert Band was established by Ray Gallagher in 1989. As the Band grew in size and stature, it attracted a number of adult players until it became a community band in the fullest sense.

Since its inception, the band has had several musical directors beginning with Ray Gallagher, followed by Carl Hammond, Merv Lawrence and Cathy Jarman. Our current conductor is Fatima De Assis. As well as being a professional percussionist, Fatima is a music teacher at St. Mary's Senior High School.
