Pat Bailey - Wednesday, 7 April 2010
Vale Pat Bailey
Our thoughts and sympathy go out to the family and
friends of Pat Bailey, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon. 7th April 2010. The Funeral will be at 2pm, 14th April at Leura Memorial Gardens, afterwards at The Log Cabin at Penrith (approx 4.30 pm). President Des Annabel remembers joining PVCB at a similar time to Pat (about 18years ago). Pat was a fine trumpeter and featured in the Ensemble as well as senior band. She was a trumpeter when PVCB won the National B grade championships. Pat served the band in many ways, as a committee member, and as librarian. She will best be remembered as Des remembers her... a fun filled person that never had a cross word for anyone...a friend that you could rely on in any crisis...someone that was always there when needed. We at PVCB will miss a friend and fine musician.
